Pin Fin in Natural/Forced Convection

This apparatus is used to calculate the heat transfer coefficient of vertical pin in natural convection / forced convection.

(i) Vertical pin of dia 12.5mm and 150mm long fitted on a heater.
(ii) Blower unit with orifice of 14mm and manometer arrangement for flow measurement.
(iii) Duct - of size 25x25x90cm.
(iv) Pin-Fin (Brass, - 1 No.)
(v) Band Heater: 400 watts
(vi) Set of Thermocouples 6 Nos.
