Thermal Conductivity of Insulation Powder

This apparatus is used to calculate the thermal conductivity of Insulating Powder. (Asbestos Powder).

i. Mica insulated nichrome heater
ii. Inner copper sphere of radius 100mm
iii. Outer copper sphere of radius 200mm
iv. Set of thermocouple - 4 Nos.
v. Asbestos Powder is filled in between the outer sphere and inner sphere.

i. 4 Channel Digital Temp. Indicator range: 0-300oC
ii. Dimmer stat: 0-2A /230V
iii. Mains ON/OFF switch
iv. Digital Watt meter
